Come and experience authentic village life, enjoy the good and reasonable restaurants next door and breathe the air of times past. It is 40 minutes drive from funchal. The house was built in 1867 and it was restored in 1995. It is charmingly decorated. The main house has 3 bed rooms, all with private bath. At the ground floor you find the lounge, tv-area, dining room and kitchen. There is much living space for the guests to enjoy themselves. The garden cottage can house one couple. This has no kitchen, but the open veranda is nice treat in the afternoons.
